When it comes to Western cuisine, many Malaysian are up for it. So what makes western cuisine so delectable, particularly the steaks and pork chops? Well, in my opinion, it is simple. Because many Malaysians have western cuisine only once in a while (not every day) – birthday, anniversary or in other words, celebrations or special occasions, western cuisine has become more of a savoury rather than a meal (sort of, if you know what I mean).

Anyway, back to the point. A foundation to a good session of a western meal includes the freshness of the cut, quality of ingredients and of course, appetisers. Friendly conversations and family bonding adds up to the experience. Situated amidst the busy area of Chow Kit, Two Ox provides customers with a Parisian-style café, where the atmosphere is relaxed and casual and the décor is warm and cosy together with the service provided.

Chef Florent Lescouezec cooks up contemporary, light and fresh recipes, with experience from living and cooking in Seoul for the past 12 years. Ingredients used are carefully picked with an imported fresh selection of charcuterie   and artisanal cheeses. No good food is worth it without good wine, well at least it’s what they say. Two Ox gives customers attractive wines with affordable price tags. Also, customers can create their very own three course menu, a starter, a main and a dessert. It is more worth it than you think, considering the price tag and in a place with an atmosphere like this.
