Tsunami Village is a seafood restaurant situated alongside the seaside of Tanjung Bungah area. You are probably wondering why this restaurant is called ‘Tsunami’. As you possibly know, this village had suffered severely in 2004 due to tsunami. Since then, the government built a big block of apartment to replace the affected homes. Parking space here can be quite troublesome. There is no specific parking space for its customers, so patrons have to park at the road side or opposite the road and walk over to the restaurant. The restaurant owns a big blue sign to ease its customers to spot the place.

 

This open space restaurant offers lots of fresh seafood that you can choose from. If you are going for crabs, try the Baked Crab. The crabs are perfectly baked and its juiciness and freshness will definitely satisfy your taste bud. The Lemongrass Steamed Fish is also one of the recommended dish of this place. Soaked in lemongrass soup that consist of mushroom, lemongrass, tomato, chilli, and garlic, this fish is exceptionally delicious and fresh. You will love the hint of sautéed flavour and the overpowering taste of lemongrass. Besides that, have a taste of their signature dish, Kam Heong Eggplant.
