Tako Tao @ Mid Valley Mid Valley City

Tako Tao is a Japanese fast food snack stall that has successfully branched out to many shopping centres. One among the many is situated at Aeon Mid Valley Megamall. Tako Tao was established in Malaysia since 2003 and is still running its franchise until today. However, the idea behind Tako Tao’s roots was initially started in the streets of Kansai, Japan. The owner saw that Takoyaki was crazed food factor and decided to bring this recipe back to Malaysia. It first started off from a Tako Tao grill cart during a night market in Kuala Lumpur. It cultivated a Takoyaki crazed and has now franchise their business to many shopping malls.

Located on the lower ground floor of Mid Valley Megamall, the stall is set up front with a red coloured signboard you can’t miss. The menu is placed in front of the stalls with the picture to show customers how each type of Takoyaki looks like or contain. This makes it easier for customers to select their preferred Takoyaki. Since the stall is located indoors, there’s good ventilation of air and is air-conditioned well.

Tako Tao serves only Takoyaki with a selected few ingredients customers can choose from. Takoyaki is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a ceramic moulded stovetop. Customers have a choice of octopus, prawn, chicken ham and cheese, unagi (eel) or abalone slice Takoyaki. The takoyaki is sprinkled with seaweed, fish flakes and embedded in Mayonaise and Tako Tao’s special sauce as a finishing touch.

If you're in a hurry, in a mood to snack or just in need to grab a quick bite, you can head on over to Tako Tao.
