Meteora Cafe Subang Jaya

Meteora is more than just a café; they strive to become the one stop destination for anyone and everyone, whether they’re looking for a place to dine or to just hang around. The focal point of the establishment is the hanging lanterns that light up the place quite impressively especially when it’s dark out.

Part hipster, mostly comfort, Meteora work by the belief that they want every person to walk in feel like the place is a home away from home, where one can still relax, get some work done, socialise, study, or even spending some quality time through the power of board games. There is no particular theme for the interior; a little bit of everything get thrown in together and somehow it works.

On to the food, the very much western menu is generally what one expects of a café, but kudos went to their effort to make each stood out on its own. The seemingly small but compact menu is separated into gourmet burgers, pasta, all day breakfast, churros, light eats, dessert, and beverages, sure to give plenty of choices to its patrons. Few special mentions are the Tandoori Story burger, Aglio Olio, and the Deconstructed Cheese Cake. Not many places would take the plunge to incorporate the strong flavours of tandoori in a burger, but the uniqueness is worth a try.

And what is a cafe without a sheer selection of freshly brewed coffees? Here, choices are far from short. However, the best thing Meteora can offer is their Churros. Long rolls of Spanish doughnut, Meteora’s is praiseworthy for the balanced taste of cinnamon and the batter itself, made better with chocolate or salted caramel sauce and the fact that it is not too oily. Other things on the menu include the selection of coffee, Big Breakfast, and Pancakes with Churros
