Located along Jalan Bunga Raya, Mei Sin Café represents one of the better food outlets that sells good local cuisine. Aside from the sensationalised chicken rice balls, satay celup and cendol that’s been bringing fame to the states of Melaka, Mei Sin would be a breath of fresh air and a change of season. The good kind of course. if you’re tired of the long lines and long waiting periods just to satisfy your hunger, just head on over Mei Sin Café and you’ll be sure to find some palatable dishes to suit your taste.

Mei Sin Café is like your typical hawker stall place. Each hawker stall is placed around the entrance convenient for customers to order straight. The restaurant’s located right beside Renaissance Hotel, Melaka so it wouldn’t be too difficult to locate with a huge landmark right beside. This place is definitely a crowd pleaser no doubt and you’ll sure find this hidden gem worth a try. A truly old style coffee shop that will bring back a nostalgic memory of how coffee shops were back in the good old days.

It would be a sin to say that Mei Sin has a signature but by right Mei Sin does avail to quite a few popular dishes. One in particular is their wan tan mee which is white in color. In comparison to the normal dark soy sauce wan tan mee, this although it seems simply plain the dish screams delish. You have the choice of adding sui kow (a type of Chinese dumpling) to your noodles as an add on. Some of the other selected popular dishes are the Satay Hailam (pork satay) with satay sauce and pineapple dressing, Nyonya chang and their Nyonya laksa .

Reasonable prices and fairly decent service as compared to other places which are marked up higher. It is truly an underdog of other renowned restaurants placed as the best in Malacca.
