Most famous for its Bubble Teh and Kopi Tarik, Joo Seng Cafe serves as one of the best places to have breakfast at in Kuching. Located strategically near one of the busiest traffic lights in Kuching, the locals favour this cafe as it offers reasonable priced meals and good service.
The Bubble Teh Tarik and Kopi Tarik here have proved that there is no such thing as 'too frothy' when it comes to tarik (pulled) drinks. The aftereffect of pouring the drink (milk tea or coffee) through the air between two cups until it reaches the right texture produces overflowing foam made up of tiny bubbles around the cup.
The perfect match for a Teh Tarik in the morning is of course, a feast of scrumptious toasts. The slices of bread are toasted to the right colour and texture, filled with milk or coconut jam.
Speaking of one of the best places for breakfast, the cafe also offers the famous Sarawak Kolo Mee - bouncy curly noodles drenched in lard and shallots oil, topped with cha siew pork slices, crispy fried onions, and chopped spring onions.
