“The
place to be, where friends meet”. That’s the tagline of House Restaurant,
previously known as Social@KL. It features a casual and cosy environment which
gives out a comfortable and laid back atmosphere.
Occupying 80000 square feet at Malaysia’s first fully green building, it spans 3 levels, featuring a few distinctive seating areas for diners to select according to their mood and the occasion. For sit down dinners who want to savour every bite of their food, do go to the main dining area at ground level. The mezzanine level is a pleasant wine area which features an impressive collection spanning across 100 countries, definitely a haven for wine lovers! If you are looking to have a beer or two, or a glass of cocktail, do go to their bar at the LG level.
Delight
in their heart-warming Eastern, Mediterranean and Western-accented fusion
cuisine. Definitely try their Penne Pasta with Salmon. The cream sauce is a
perfect blend of cheese and cherry tomatoes, which gives the dish a sour yet
appetizing flavour. The pasta is cooked impeccably, soft yet still firm to the
bite. The smoked salmon is the main spotlight of the dish with its slightly salty
taste and perfect texture.
Accompany
your meal with their Social Ice Tea, which is served with a generous scoop of
homemade sorbet of various flavours. It is a refreshing drink with no sugar
added. Instead, the bitter aftertaste of tea is complemented with the natural
sweetness of the fruit sorbets. Flavours include kalamansi, mango, lime,
lychee, peach, lemon and orange.
