Sitting at the roadside of Jalan Burma Georgetown is a stall named Old Green House Prawn Mee that has been in operation for years and until to date it is still considered among the best place to much on some of delicious prawn noodle. What charms customers to get their craving fix here is the choice to dress up your prawn noodle in any way that you would like for instance Chinese sausages, meat balls, and many more - pretty much a customized bowl of prawn noodle to suit any taste bud out there.


One bowl of noodle with a choice of yellow noodle, bihun, Cintan Mee, or La Mian mee will start of as the kick off before setting in other types of condiments that are of arrays to choose from. The usual toppings include braised egg, meat balls, and chicken feet but for a much adventurous taste, Old Green House even has pork intestines and pork skin to add on – intriguing! Yet their classic roast pork is the house’s best sides that customers always opt for, perfecting the balance between sweet and spiciness of both. Old Green House also sells Curry Mee and Porridge and they are no less pleasing. Interestingly the place operates at odd hours until late night, perhaps to cater late night dinner bunch that happens to be quite a number apparently.
