The new kid on the block of restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, is restaurant Modi & Rosa. This family friendly restaurant is also a wine bar which prides itself on it's authentic Italian cuisine and exclusive imported wines. The establishment is run by Cavaliere Modesto Marini, who's known to have introduced the thin crust pizza in malaysia a couple decades ago. Keeping on with the theme of 'Familgia', the restaurant has been sectioned off by curtains, which allows for the restauraunt to accomadate for a larger gathering, allowing for even the biggest of families to enjoy their meals together.
Some of the dishes on offer are their Alla Diavola, a pizza topped with beef salami, chili and mozzerella cheese, with a tomato sauce base.Another one of their fine itallian cuisines is the Stinco D'Agnello al Forno. An oven backed lamb shank, elegently served with a helping of truffle mashed potatoes.
If you're looking for some pasta, the restaurant offers a good variety of different kinds, prepared in different ways. For example, their Penne all' Arrabbiata. Pnna pasta that's been served with fresh tomatoes, basil, along with some dried chilli for that added zing.
The Linguine alla Modi Rosa is an Italian Cartoccio baked linguine pasta, served with seafood.The dish along with it's ingrediants are wrapped in a housing of aluminium foil before baking.
One more pasta to mention on our feature is their Ravioili al Tartufo con Crema di Spinaci. Served with home-made ravioli filled with mushroom fillings, which are then covered in a generous helping of creamy truffle spinach sauce.
And once you've had your share of one of their main dishes, you can top it off with some of their desserts on offer, like their tiramisu cake, the Tiramisu' alla Modi Rosa, or maybe indulge yourself in more of their fine selection of wines.
