Okay, so who doesn’t want to try a cup of coffee made from a Synesso coffee machine that apparently costs over RM60,000? We know we do. This modern café does not only serve the best coffee, but they also put up a variety of gastronomy choices on their menu.
Launched in 2014, the contemporary café was founded by two friends, Aidan Teo and Danee Neoh who respectively left their former jobs in banking and IT to pursue their dreams. They found their love for coffee in Melbourne and decided to open Elixir Espresso.
If you have a sweet tooth, this place is perfect for you. They provide a bountiful range of desserts which includes chocolate cakes with Nutella and toasted hazelnuts, baked cheesecakes with mocha and salted caramel swirls, lamingtons, and green tea mousse cakes with red bean.
To go well with the desserts, you should definitely try their coffees. The drinks will not only be made by a RM60,000 Synesso coffee machine, but the coffee beans also have excellent quality. They are from PULP by Papa Palheta and Proud Marie Coffee.
When it comes to savoury foods, there are tons of ranges you can choose from. While most cafés provide only a selection of western food in their menu, Elixir Espresso also serves authentic Thai food. Customers can test their spiciness level by selecting different levels of spiciness from mild to extreme. Psssttt, they said that they serve one of the best green curries in town!
If you’re more into western food, you may order their famous grilled chicken salad with a very refreshing sesame dressing or sautéed button mushrooms served on sourdough with half boiled egg. Pancakes are also available during tea time.
If you are looking for a place to chill while having a perfect cup of coffee with a delicious meal, this is definitely the place to go. Although it's a bit hidden in Sri Hartamas' Plaza Damas 3, but we can promise you this café has so much more to offer.
