Eat Me is a dessert parlour based in Bangsar. Steven and Jo are the duo behind this endeavour, and are the same duo that were responsible for Killer Gourmet Burgers (KGB) in Bangsar (matter of fact, the two stores are next door to each other). Eat Me specialises in artisanal desserts, which is quite the shift for a team known for rich, hearty burgers.
Much like the decor, the desserts at Eat Me are both bright and possess a unique twist. A great example of this is seen in the ice cheese tarts that come in flavours like passion fruit, cempedak and strawberry. Another great example of this East meets West framework working well is the Belgian Musang, which contains a durian cake and durian ice-cream, matched with dark chocolate fudge. This inventive, pushing-the-boundaries attitude of Eat Me is not just limited to their dessert, but is also seen in their drinks as well. A prime example of this is the Nutella Chill Pill. It is a massive visual treat to watch as a coffee infused pill is slowly melted away with warm milk and thickened further with Nutella, giving an all around feast for the senses.
If you are looking for something a little more conventional, Eat Me also has great things to offer in this regard. Desserts such as churros and drinks like ice lavender tea and gingerbread hot chocolate deliver on the promise of being simple and effective. Eat Me also offers other services, namely custom making cakes for special occasions, be it a birthday, wedding or anything else.
In short, if you are looking for a slightly unconventional and unfamiliar treat after a hearty meal, Eat Me has you covered. Sweet tooths will not be disappointed by the variety available at Eat Me.
