Japanese-style cafes have been mushrooming around Malaysia for the past few years which of course it does not leave out Johor Bahru as one of their destinations and Miyakori Cafe is one of the few lots. Located in Bukit Indah, the ultimate neighbourhood for cafe-hoppers, Miyakori Cafe first opened its door back at the end of 2013 and has sustained its likeability until now which brings them to another outlet opened in 2015, two years after its first succession, in City Square JB.

Rather interesting the concept that Miyakori put forward one must say with an absolute Japanese-inspired theme as its facade. Kanji and katakana makes up the menu but what attracted patrons the most would be Miyakori’s cute characters that are evidently consisting on its signature desserts, beverages, and even on displays on every four corners of the cafe with murals of the characters hand painted on the walls, that somehow throughout the hours sets it off as a symbol of Miyakori. But of course, an identity is what makes this cafe stands out among the rest.

However Miyakoris specialities are no less captivating. This cafe mostly centres on desserts and coffees but mains are also available such as pastas and sets of all day breakfast such as the classic Egg Ben, during lunch and dinner hour. It is a no wonder lunch folks would be seeing filling the empty spaces here during mid day.

Most customers would opt for their signature cakes and pastries ranging from baked blueberry cheesecake to the classic croissant with butter to be paired with a cup of coffee or tea. In any way you would want to opt for at Miyakori, this place is assured to be worth a trip.
