The typical rule of if you’re late, it’s all sold out applies here at Keong Kee and to be more specific, by noon. The homemade wantans are the staple here as you gain a tease of freshly sourced and prepared ingredients. Noodles are springy and if you can’t do without meat, throwing in some char siews will be a great idea.

Known primarily for their selection of delicious noodles, you will find yourself a generous and fulsome plate of wantan mee here too. This comfy restaurant is constantly packed with people, which is a conspicuous sign that it’s that good. The treacly sauce that coats the noodles elevates the texture and flavours of the dish, which the dumplings also play a part in.

Another gem amidst the hustle and bustle here at Seremban’s wet market; run by the man who goes by Uncle Ming, the wantan mee here seem to have gotten a good leap off the launch pad. With refined tasting dumplings simmering in flavoursome soup, it’s one of the best part of the noodles here. Plus, where else can you find such affordable plates of wantan mee nowadays?

Boasting their fresh and homemade noodles, you can surely taste something a little bit more authentic here. The noodles are springy and bouncy, showing that bare hands are what makes the best ingredients and food. Top it off with a few strips of char siew and you have yourself a scrumptious meal.
