If you are like yours truly, Shepherd's Pie may be a term too pretentious to even be understood and might even take it a little too lightly. Most of us may only look at it as a regular pie creation but it takes a whole lot of skill to create the most relishing Shepherd's Pie. Also known as Cottage Pie in some provinces, many take delight in its classic creation of a meat pie under a crust made out of mashed potatoes. I stand corrected when coming across this godly work of art that makes us appreciate pastry-making chefs even more.
