Not only the restaurant is big enough with ample seating to fit plenty of big families, you also have a choice to dine in the comfort of the air-conditioned indoor premise or the outdoor area overlooking the breezy sea view of PD Waterfront. Those who are looking for a restaurant with air-conditioning, this might not be it. However, it is fairly windy, which makes it somewhat comfortable and acceptable the most. Thankfully, the dishes here are also well-packed with flavour, especially the coconut curry which will simply have you refilling your rice more than you need. Overall, don't expect too much from the ambiance, just the food. 

Yuan Xiang Seafood Restaurant is all about trying out new things. New flavours, new presentation and basically, anything that can be altered to make it better, will be done so here. However, they still remain true to their roots, in terms of providing that same explosive flavour you'll find in most of their dishes. They excel in seafood, which allowed them to create the gorgeous seafood pot with a whole crab and a wide variety of other seafood goodness within. The broth is well packed with flavour, cooked over a prolong period of time and one that will get you slurping more and more.

When a restaurant names themselves as the top - it sure does bring quite an expectation. Especially when you are not local or it's your first time. Like many other Chinese 'dai chao' out there, Restoran Top Seafood anchors itself by the end of the shoplot, taking up a good amount of space from the carpark as well. You'll also find what most people are serving here, but at least the seafood selections are fresh and cooked quite nicely. Prices are considered cheap if not affordable and service is mediocre. In conclusion, it's another place to dine, just not one that you would die for.
