A classic Malaysian breakfast indeed. Roti bakar or toasts filled with butter and kaya, served alongside half-boiled eggs and a cup of kopi-o - delicious. A good roti bakar should not only be light and fluffy, but jam packed with the right amount of butter to kaya ratio. It should also have a nice char on the outside, making it crisp and crumble to the touch.
