For more than six decades since 1948, in the heavily populated area of Jalan Pudu, Sek Yuen Restaurant has certainly stood the test of time. It has retained the same old nostalgic look where modernisation seems to be out of the question in the owner’s mind. Likewise, its popular dishes have survived throughout the days – one happened to be their signature ‘Pei Pa’ duck dish. It is pleasingly cooked using traditional wood-fire technique (which also goes for the other dishes).
