Fat Spoon café is made up by two sisters who have a sharing passion of good food. With a combination of Western and local fusion, Fat Spoon is definitely a place to visit on an empty stomach. Their Red Velvet cake is pretty unique, with just a tinge of cream cheese frosting, this cake is served warm. Interesting, isn’t it? Usually cakes are brought out served cold but in Fat Spoon, they serve it warm. It’s very moist and sweet, just like biting into cotton candy!More info

As regal as its name, the baristas at Artisan Roast Coffee take their expertise very seriously. Roasting their own coffee beans into perfection at Section 13, Petaling Jaya, this perfectionism induced café is in a middle of a manufacturing area and the insides of the store has very high ceilings; leaving patrons in awe at the tremendously wide space. Their perfect coffees go very well with the Red Velvet cake they have. With more cake than cream cheese frosting, the textures and tastes combine really well.
