Section 13, Stadium Shah Alam
If there is one word to describe Section 13’s bazaar, that word will be “extensive”. Aside from the fact that it is situated near Stadium Malawati, the bazaar is also arguably the king of bazaars in Selangor with a total of about 200 stalls. The magnitude of its size is enough to earn comparisons with most prominent Bazaars. You can find almost every single kind of buka puasa food imaginable in this bazaar, from Ayam Golek to the rare appearance of Satar (a sort of grilled fish paste) in a Ramadan Bazaar. So much is going on at this bazaar that your eyes will feel like rolling to the back of your head in order to view everything. After all, hearing about this from one source isn't enough, as the bazaar has also garnered much attention from an Astro Awani viewers' poll.More infoSection 13, Stadium Shah Alam View restaurant

Jalan Raja Alang, Kampung Baru is home to the biggest Ramadan bazaar in Kuala Lumpur and probably the biggest on this list. Its reputation contradicts the name of its location as there is nothing baru or new about this place. Our parents have probably been to this place at least once in their youth so there is no doubting that there must be a whole lot going on at the bazaar. Well, firstly, the road is not closed off to vehicles unlike the typical market, so expect a lot of jumping out of the way when cars come in honking profusely at the shoppers. Secondly, there will be a massive crowd that cannot seem to be avoided, even if you show up at 4pm. But, alas, despite all those potential setbacks, we assure you that this bazaar warrants at least a one time visit due to the endless variety of food fare. You can discover everything here, from traditional Malay food to rare desserts. Think of it as Doraemon’s magic pocket for Malaysian food. Kampung Baru’s Bazaar has a major plus point: you can even find some very rare Indonesian cuisine here. Coming here is like getting a lesson on Malaysian culture as every single food from every single state is being sold, such as the Kelantanese Putih Naga (White Dragon), Perak’s Rendang Tok (spicy beef paste), and Negeri Sembilan’s Asam Pedas.More infoKampung Baru Ramadan Bazaar View restaurant

Kelana Jaya Ramadan Bazaar
Located just opposite the Giant Mini Market in Jalan SS6/1, Kelana Jaya, this particular bazaar is fairly easy to find and famous for having more than 6 different stalls selling grilled items. Since we heard bucketloads of praises for the sambal ikan cencaru stall, we headed to that one first and was impressed with the owner’s explanation and service. The fact that he gave us extra sambal didn’t hurt either. The bazaar has expanded to a larger number this year, probably to accomodate Kelana Jaya’s increasing population. Visiting here will be worth it just to see a stall which was creatively branded as Popiah FAM as a nod to the Malaysian Football Association. However, the food here may be a little pricier than the other on the list, but fret not, lighter pockets almost always mean fuller bellies. 😉More infoKelana Jaya Ramadan Bazaar View restaurant
