Pan Mee is an authentic Malaysian dish, and Johor is not to be excluded from the wonders of Pan Mee. In Johor, it is common to see Pan Mee served in soup, along with dried anchovies, minced pork, mushrooms and leafy vegetables (aka pucuk manis). Pan Mee is also addressed as "flat flour noodles;" although truthfully old school Johoreans would choose the traditional "hand-peeled-and-kneaded" Pan Mee over the latter. Some says they are the same, while some argues that they are different, but to be frank it's just the shape of the noodles.
