Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie
Famous for its pastries and Victorian-style Architecture & décor, Levain serves a surprisingly good set of meals as well. Their macarons are not exception. Perfectly crisp and crumbly on the outside, smooth creamy filling on the inside. However, the taste was slightly sweeter than usual but that is alright if you’re craving for something sweet.

Located exactly on the 38 floor of Grand Hyatt hotel, along with its amazing 360 degree panoramic view of KL, Thirty8 has got to be one of the hottest place to visit currently. It comprises of a bar, lounge and a restaurant. Highlight both their culinary expertise alongside their mixing talent. From appetizers to mains and finally to desserts – all of which were executed in to the highest degree. The macaroons as well – although small and insignificant to some, they take it rather seriously as well. Giving conventional flavours an upgrade, in terms of flavour, texture and presentation.

Popular once upon a time for its promotion on Groupon, many had purchased and tried it out. Apart from its “garden made indoor” concept, they do offer food at a remarkably affordable price. This includes their pastas, sandwiches and even cakes and desserts. Despite the affordable pricing, their macaroons were pretty good. Though the texture was slightly stickier than usual, the flavours were pleasant and mildly sweet.More info
