The interior is equally beautiful too, and food-wise, the kitchen churns out a range of local delicacies and trove of toasts. Among the best sellers on the menu is their Kaya French toast. Two thick slabs of bread sandwiched with rich kaya is dunked into an egg batter then fried to gilded hue and crowned with a block of melting butter. Ah Hong Kopitiam
During breakfast hours, this renowned restaurant has no room for an apple to fall, always a brisk business thanks to their comfort range of local delights. It’s usual to spot French toasts gracing up tables of patrons along aromatic Kopi O. Four slices of egg toasted bread is served piping hot with a dollop of kaya by the side, which exceeded our expectation. The kaya isn’t cloyingly sweet and is made fresh in the Kopitiam with eggs, sugar, and santan. Despite a simple outlook, then the bread is absolutely addictive, just like the way mum and grandma usually does.

The Toast
The Toast isn't exactly a great cafe in general, but their french toast is absolutely delicious. Their style is similar to those in Hong Kong, where they buttered up the bread stuffed with peanut butter, and glazed with their choice of condiments. All and all, it's a pretty decent serving of french toast, and certainly will kick off the cravings.
