Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur is an exclusive hotel located strategically at the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle, close to Bukit Bintang. A 5 minutes walk in any direction takes you to the Kuala Lumpur’s top shopping destination. Corus Hotel has launched their first ever permanent urban durian dining “Durian365” and “The Durian Room”. They are serving durian desserts all year long as well as three of the country’s most in demand durian varieties, which are the Musang King, D24 and XO.The picture shown above is their durian dessert platter which is inspired from other eight desserts such as the Durian BB Signature Mousse Cake, Durian Crepe, Durian Macaron, Durian Matcha Cake Roll, Durian Tart with Italian Meringue, Durian Tiramisu, San Sebastian Durian Burnt Cheesecake and the Rabbit Coconut Durian Mousse. This set is served with coffee or tea, available daily from 12 noon to 9PM, and it is priced at RM78 nett for two people. They do sell it as Ala carte too.
They serve durian ice cream with durian flesh as well, and it is just RM10 per cone. Different from other durian ice cream, you can taste the non artificial creamy durian over here. It’s definitely worth the price!
Besides that, Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur has a Durian Room specially for the durian lovers. They will keep all the durians in the air conditioning room to ensure the durians stay fresh. As mentioned before, they serve Musang King, D24, and XO.. This exclusive space will allow locals and tourists to enjoy the fresh durian whenever they are in Chorus Hotel. The prices of the durian will change daily according to the season.
