But not just your average rice served flat on your plates, but chicken rice balls! Yes, chicken rice in forms of balls. Excited yet? You should be. Should you decide to give this place a try, it is advised to come early if you have no patience for queueing up. It is self explanatory as to why the line is so long - the food is simply delicious. The fragrant rice, spicy condiments, chewy chicken and most of all, the great asam fish! 

Popiah lovers, you must definitely give this place a try. Do not let the exterior of the shop fool you. Although it may not look like much, they make up for it with delicious and savoury popiah. They owner is very generous with the filling, so that should be good for those who wants value for their money. If you still feel a little hungry, then you can order the Laksa and Nyonya Zhang that are equally as delicious. Other than that, service is somewhat good and the the people there are friendly too! 

Restoran Anikaragam can best be described as a place where you can seek for various food choices. It is an expert in preparing Chinese styled a la carte dishes, in addition to serving steamboats. Fish and seafood dishes are highly recommended, such as the Squid with Salted Egg here. If ambience is not your main concern, this would definitely be your next place for dining, and besides, it is pretty affordable too.

Restoran Chong Sek is a humble Chinese eatery, reachable within walking distance from Jonker Walk.  It has been around for decades, serving typical Chinese dishes such as sweet and sour pork, curry fish head, sizzling hot plate dishes and more. Parking is not an issue here as customers are given allocated parking spaces.

At first glance, this restaurant looks like a place fit for food princes and princesses. When you give it a second, you know that something is trying to get you to go inside, and you should. When you enter, you will be welcomed with a spacious interior that is clean and luxurious looking - which can already work up your appetite. A few of the dishes you should keep an eye out for are the Pa Tin fish, Oatmeal Prawn, Curry Fish and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. However, if you are in need of something sour, you are in luck! They actually serve Tom Yam here too. Beware though, as the price might hurt your heart and pockets a little but otherwise, it is definitely worth a try. 

If you want to give satay celup a try, then Restoran Ban Lee Siang should be in your must try list. If is not your usual Satay celup truck, and it is placed in an actual restaurant, which means you and your friends and family get to sit together at a table. What a winner! This restaurant has great sauces and other condiments that you can dip your choice of satays with and the price is very reasonable. Be sure to give this place a try as they have several different variety of meats, vegetables and seafood served on skewers so that your choices are not limited as opposed to the ones you find on the usual satay truck.
