halalApart from their range of local specialty, Rail Canteen also offers pretty good cheesecake. More specifically, coffee cheesecake. Made from their own Kluang coffee beans, the cheesecake has a rich and velvety texture along with a rich and well-balanced coffee taste. In short, the cake is really rich and flavourful that sharing is highly recommended.

The cheesecake at Tea Verandah is light and rich. It had a nice twist, the flambeed marshmallow as it added more depth and smokiness to it. The cheesecake was done nicely with a smooth and velvety texture but airy as well.More info

Fat Spoon café has been really popular among the locals and people from other state for one thing, the Cempedak Rolls with vanilla ice cream. However, it wouldn’t be fair if it took all the credit despite having other delicious thing on the menu as well. Their Blueberry Cheesecake would be one of victim. Beautifully baked with a creamy and rich cheesy core topped with a layer of tangy and sweet blueberry sauce with real blueberries and finished with a crumbly crust. Though it may not be as popular as the Cempedak Roll, it definitely deserve a spot at the best cheesecake in PJ!More info

The cheesecake served at Whisk might have a slight identity crisis. Not knowing whether ‘it’ is a pecan pie, walnut cake or cheesecake. Well, might as well have them all combined, which was precisely what it felt like to us. Despite the identity crisis, it concluded pretty well with an interesting play on texture rather than taste. Customers who passes by would normally take a quick glance before being dragged in by their beautiful selection of pastries and cakes. Their Hanjuku cheesecake was one of the main reason as well. Food Foundry is, and considered a neighborhood café to many of the locals staying in Section 17. Much like myElephant Thai restaurant, Food Foundry is rather packed on a daily basis. They offer simple western cuisine such as pasta, lamb chops, burgers and cakes. This includes their cheesecake which was pretty good. Well balanced in all aspects and simple enough to identify.
