In a small city such as Melaka, the number of Thai restaurants are literally countable. Kuay Tiaw Zabb, a recent addition in town and a connoisseur of Thai gourmets is one of those. When it comes to “Pad Thai”, there’s so much more than just generic ones such as the “Pad Thai Chao Wang” here. Bearing a Thai version of “char kuey teow”, this rice noodle dish is laden with full-sized prawns, egg, bean sprouts, tofu and ground peanuts. It is very authentic and stands out with a pronounced sweet tamarind flavour, while the noodles were perfectly cooked yet elastic!
