    Starting out like any other Cendol push-cart in Penang since 1936, the family behind it never ceased satisfying customers. 70 years later, the business expanded to 14 outlets countrywide, making a mark with their signature green logo and unforgettable Cendol. Also on the menu are interesting twists such as Chendul with Durian and Chendul with White Coffee (think of it as Affogato).

    Too good to be shared; order your own bowl!

    This famous Malay fusion cuisine restaurant calls it Iced Chendol. Served in an oversized chilled dizzy cocktail glass, the authenticity of taste still remains despite its contemporary appearance. A treasure trove of creamed corn, sweetened red beans and green jelly noodles swimming in a sea of coconut milk and palm sugar, it is the perfect dessert after a scrumptious meal.

    What started as a food truck serving Penang’s phenomenal Pasembor and fiery Mee Goreng Mamak in the residential area of USJ 20 became famous for its authentic tasting Cendol and finally opened a permanent establishment. This modest Cendol stays true to its traditional form with the usual ingredients and a topping of chunky red beans and bouncy grass jelly.

    A strong brand with a Penang lineage famous for Rojak, their Cendol is equally renowned. All ingredients are prepared in the central kitchen in Section 15, Shah Alam to ensure quality control and to meet serving standards. The Cendol here is unpretentious and consists of pure coconut milk, Gula Melaka, green jelly noodles, robust red beans and shaved ice served in their signature bright green bowls. Simplicity at its best.
    Tips

    The outlet opens later in the afternoon during the fasting month of Ramadhan.

    Located in a very convenient corner in Subang Parade, this kopitiam concept cafe never disappoints with its version of Cendol served in a glass tankard. Like a frothy brimming pint of stout, this icy brew of shaved ice, creamy coconut milk and delectable palm sugar syrup is topped with crushed peanuts for that added crunch!

    This Kopitiam concept shop is famous for their colourful array of Nyonya ‘kuih’ and quick yet delicious meals. A favourite among shoppers in the Klang Valley the Cendol is served with exciting tidbits such as peanuts, wiggly Cendol ‘worms’, grass jelly cubes, sweet red beans and creamed corn, while a bed of shaved ice tucked in coconut milk and striated palm sugar syrup completes this dessert.     Not having any registered brand name is not a problem for this very celebrated and popular Cendol vendor along the main road in SS 15; its very existence is already an icon by itself with customers making a beeline everyday. Offering a no-frills experience of eating by the roadside, this Cendol goes about the usual approach with coconut milk, Gula Melaka and shaved ice served in small colourful plastic bowls and packed with the typical ingredients. If you are seeking more bite in your Cendol, the addition of some pulut (sticky coconut rice) will give your Cendol some added texture and a more full-bodied taste.
    Tips

    This stall is located diagonally opposite of KFC along the main road. Waiting in line is a test of patience due to the long queue as takeaway customers arrive with bulk orders.

    The Cendol vendor operates at a MPSJ designated area alongside other friendly vendors offering deep fried delicacies and Nasi Lemak.
