Literally translated as “meat bone tea”, Bak Kut Teh is a favourite Malaysian comfort food. Who could actually resist the temptation of piping hot broth filled with pork meat and bones, mushrooms, Chinese cabbage and tofus? As good as it sounds, a good bowl of BKT offers several layer of taste, texture and aroma. And all you need is a mound of white rice to get you going. Thankfully, Kuala Lumpur has some of the best BKT spots that might sound like a direct invitation during the perfect cold weather or any sort of family and friends gathering.
