Located in Sunway Nexis, it won’t be too hard to find Ziffy Café and its front glass entrance and polygonal décor of the café’s exterior. Which immediately gives the café a hip and modern impression as well as the polygonal aesthetic Ziffy is going for. The décor is made up of cubes and squares made with metal bars, and the lamps also have a vintage design to commit to the theme of being a very hip café without sacrificing some modern elements.
Ziffy Café is made up of two floors, the ground floor holds some seating inside and outside. The coffee bar which produces all of your caffeinated needs is shaped like half a hexagon, still committing to the polygonal aesthetic. Upstairs holds even more tables and chairs, where you can choose to sit alone by yourself and work on your blog, or bring your friends over for a cup of coffee and some snacks. The upstairs area also holds a small stage at the back of the café, which makes it perfect for musical or standup comedy entertainment any night. Those who are interested may inquire the café about performing there.
With a hip-looking coffee bar, you can order a cup of coffee that doesn’t compromise on quality, being made with coffee beans that are imported. But instead of settling on a glass of the usual latte, you can take it several steps further with Ziffy Café’s signature The Boss Mojito. A few shots of pure, concentrated coffee mixed with tonic water, lemon and lime juices, and crushed mint leaves. Making this cup of coffee a fizzy, refreshing, and cool beverage for any time of the day.
The Ziffy Big Breakfast is what you might expect for an Australian-style big breakfast. A generous portion of everything they could put on a plate like eggs scrambled or fried, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, chicken ham, toast, a whole tomato, and the real party piece of the dish, beef meatloaf with gravy.
In the seafood department, the Prawn Star (don’t
get the wrong idea!) is a mountain of lettuce mixed with cherry tomatoes, corn,
feta cheese, and tiger prawns drizzled in a pomegranate-based vinaigrette. The
Krabby Patty is a burger with a deep-fried soft-shell crab as a patty with a
Hainanese-based sauce, served alongside with sweet-potato fries. Finally, the I
See-Food is, pun intended, a seafood take on the classic Aglio-Olio spaghetti with
various seafoods like prawns, blue mussels, and fish. With chili flakes for
added heat and tomatoes for added acidity.
