Ever since Uncle Jang opened, they have been providing Korean food enthusiasts a reason to explore. This is a Korean restaurant which hosts the main attraction of cooking on a huge barbecue plate together with other Korean delicacies.

Many patrons would go there for the Uncle Jang’s specialty which is the ‘Dak-Galbi’ which is a dish that consists of fresh boneless chicken, cabbage, sweet potato, and rice cakes all stir-fried into a delicious entrée with a special sauce. Because it is a popular South Korean dish, there has been a continuous hype going on about it. There are other ingredients that you can add into your ‘Dak-Galbi’ like mushrooms, ramen, udon and rice if you want it to be a more filling meal. You are given a bright red apron to prevent your outfit from being splattered by the sauce. It is said that the dish will be served two portions at a minimum and flavours being the spicy or the non-spicy one.

Another main dish that you can try is the Pork-Bulgogi which is stir-fried sweet pork with salad. That will be cooked for you in the kitchen as you have the fun of scooping your delectable ‘Dak-Galbi’ off the hot plate. If you prefer a little bit of seafood, O-Sam Bulgogi is a good choice which includes squid together with sliced pork and served with white noodles.

All main courses will be served with the regular sides such as Kimchi, some other vegetables and especially a small bowl of onions with soy sauce to even out the taste for your ‘Dak-Galbi’. Uncle Jang also provides a small range of lunch sets as well if you are not up for a huge meal namely the pork cutlet which is accompanied by some rice and salad together with a handful of fries.

According to their menu, there is the cheesy option available to add on so if you have not found a reason to go, this will be it! Patrons are encouraged to bring your food squad for a more fruitful experience in finishing the food.
