Nyonya Signature, previously known as Peranakan restaurant has long been serving authentic Nyonya cuisine to patrons since they opened its door in 1995. This two-storey nyonya restaurant is decorated humbly with simple nyonya themed decorations such as paintings illustrating the nyonya culture, round marble tables as well as lovely handmade Peranakan ceramic potteries. While the restaurant’s second level is reserved specially for private functions, patrons are welcomed to get cosy whilst enjoying the true flavours of Nyonya cuisine downstairs. 

You will know from their wide range of menu is authentic when they serve rare dishes that may be absent elsewhere. Have a try on the restaurant’s signature dish, the Perut Ikan – a dish cooked heartedly with an original Nyonya recipe of long bean, brinjal, pineapple, daun gado, bunga kantan, cili merah, asam, lengkuas, small prawns, perut ikan and many other ingredients used to make this time-consuming dish.

To complement your meal further, do not miss on their Nyonya Fish Head curry. Far different than any other curry, this curry gives out a creamy sweet yet savoury curry flavour with a tinge of spiciness. What can go any more wrong with the combination of prawns and petai? Nothing of course! With Nyonya Signature’s Sambal Udang Petai, you get generous portion of large juicy prawns and petai slathered lovingly with sambal cili merah. Accompany all of this flavour with a warm plate of white rice and you are in for a journey.Your authentic Nyonya journey does not end there yet. Do not miss on their special take of signature cendol dessert with a choice of red bean, durian and cendol, Sago Gula Melaka, Pulut Hitam as well as the classic ABC.
