Be prepared to delight yourself with authentic Chinese cuisine with sophisticated interior designed in the charm of Tang Dynasty with contemporary touch. Located at the fifth floor of Hilton KL hotel, Chynna is claimed as one of the best Chinese restaurants in KL by bringing you delectable fine authentic Chinese dishes.  Lovingly adorned with oriental ornaments of hanging tanglungs and hand-painted plates illustrating scenes of old China set on their tables, more thrill is added with a visit by the Tea Master, who twirls and juggles his long-sprouted teapot with a blend of eight herbal teas before pouring into tiny cups. Muslim friends need not to worry as their dishes are pork-free.

Look forward for their wonderful menu that includes a mix of delicate and subtle Cantonese and Shanghainese cuisine with an emphasis on healthy eating. Available during morning and lunch, Chynna’s dim sum is definitely hard to pass.  Start off with the classic har gao which is a steamed crystal shrimp dumpling, siew mai made with chicken and prawns, steamed Australian scallop and shrimp dumplings and as for the fried items, go ahead with their deep fried shrimp dumplings with homemade mayo, crispy rice paper rolls filled with fresh mango and shrims and deep fried bean curd rolls with Cheddar cheese among many other dim sum available.

Aside dim sum, a wide range dishes from Chef Lam’s special set, “Peony Flower” set, “Plum Flower” set, vegetarian, a la carte to desserts are available as well. Chynna’s signature Beijing style roasted duck and peking duck will surely make you say “oomph”! 

For something for your sweet tooth, there is steamed charcoal buns with oozy salted egg yolk custard along with oven-baked egg tarts filled with lovely custard cream and blended mango puree topped with vanilla ice-cream, freshly peeled pomelo and sago pearls. During Chinese New Year, Chynna prepares one of the best mooncakes so look forward to trying their mooncakes whenever the chance comes!
