Che Nah Nasi Dagang Bukit Damansara

This is one of the low-key and under the radar places that you wish you knew sooner. Che Nah hails from Kelantan. She runs a humble food truck and earns her living by selling her home cooked nasi dagang. Currently, she operates her food truck business at two different locations. On a normal working day, you can find her stationary truck parked by the roadside, closeby to a famous Malaysia’s premium batik brand, known as Meesha Sukira. While during the weekends, you can look out for her somewhere nearby Menara CIMB.

Even though you can taste her delicious nasi dagang daily, do come early as her operation hours is just for a short duration, till 9am on a regular day and closes slightly later at 10am on weekends. She opens as early as 7am in the morning, and her food truck will be flocked by working adults who dropped by for takeaways.  If you prefer to have your breakfast on the spot, there are quite a few of tables and chairs provided too.

On weekdays, she prepares fresh small batches of nasi dagang the Kelantan way, and nasi kerabu with heaps of side dishes to go along with your rice such as sambal ikan tongkol (a type of mackerel fish), kerisik (desiccated coconut) and not forgetting the appetizing acar (pickles). On the other hand, during weekends, she prepares the Terengganu version of nasi dagang, conveniently packed in banana leaves for takeaways. Besides that, she do serves nasi lemak as well. Last but not least, this is indeed one of the most affordable and authentic nasi dagang that you can get. Hence, this is how it ended up as one of the best nasi dagang in Kuala Lumpur.
