Nightcrawlers will be pleased to know that you may visit How Lee Coffee Shop even in the wee hours. Typical dinner time may very well set you back at a waiting time of over fifteen minutes. Definitely head to How Lee earlier if you're feeling like a starving beast and can't tolerate the waiting time. You may also place some side orders to pair with your claypot porridge, such as pork intestines and vegetables.

We knew we could depend on a culinary powerhouse such as Foo Phing Dim Sum for porridge that are as equally palatable as their dim sum. Not only a generous bowl is affordable but being able to have dim sum on the side makes the experience more enjoyable. The porridge is smooth yet watery at the same time (in a good way). You'll also find yourself chewing on some rice grains here and there, giving the porridge multiple textures.

In recent times, Kedai Makanan Kuo Man has been criticized for price increment. However, despite all that negativity in media, the restaurant doesn't see the end of customer flow. That's gotta say something, right? For us, we give props to the restaurant's porridge dish as we would definitely recommend it. Order some sides of their bestselling fish paste and char siew and you've got a hearty meal that will leave your tummy filled with satisfaction (and calories).

The porridge at Kedai Kopi Kheng Hin takes the prize when it comes to flavor and texture combination. The texture is somewhat thick and creamy yet smooth and light at the same time. Above all, the flavors of the porridges here are delectable enough to alleviate a sick person's appetite, as mentioned by a netizen. Besides porridge, the restaurant also serves various bestselling dishes such as Sarawak kolo mee and Tenom Noodles.

The availability of negative tables is no surprise at Pak Ka Lok Food Park especially at peak hours. Therefore, be sure to get there early if you're hungry or simply impatient. Otherwise, you'll find your stomach growling just by inhaling the aroma within the restaurant. The Hong Kong style porridge here is Pak Ka Lok's signature dish and we can definitely attest to that as the dish is stunning.

Ultimately renowned for roast duck, Ming Ge Cafe also serves remarkable porridge that we can't turn away from. The minced pork and century egg porridge in particular is our favourite one as it is a classic version that reminds us of home. The roast duck is a must-order, and we reckon it is the perfect accompaniment to porridge. The only thing that we're bummed about Ming Ge Cafe is the fact that it is not open at night.
