The line is long but worth the visit to try their pomfret (bawa) which is a light curry. They serve some impressively well cooked cuttlefish curry and fish row. Kudu bin Abdul is the ayam sambal bawang champion. Their Nasi Kandar isn’t complete without their flavorful and thick curries that goes perfect with their fragrant rice. Where can you find fragrant rice, soy sauce curry and delicate fried fish? Restoran Ibramsha Nasi Kandar! This cozy restaurant is a neighborhood favorite that is known to serve soy sauce curry that is delightful. Their curry are a little less spicy that usual but nothing that cant be solved with sambal. Get some kari ikan bawal and you wont regret it!

Their creamy chicken kurma curry is heavenly joy on a rainy day. Their curries are sweeter than usual which gives it a good balance to that kick. Tg's Nasi Kandar
TG's Nasi Kandar has been voted as one of the best nasi kandar restaurants in KL. It has even appeared on local newspaper and is evident by the amount of customers. The only issue is, the restaurant is fairly small, so it might be a little tight. However, all will be alright when you have a taste of what they have to offer. Deliciously cooked dishes spread across multiple lines, with each one of them tempting you to go after it. From fried chicken to sambal fish, stir-fried vegetables to curry, there's just so much to have here.

They have their own channels on their tv’s, their own tissues and aprons. It’s no other than the original kayu nasi kandar. Forget the history of what made them who they are now. What is important is their food and their food is still amazing. They serve thick curry, spicy sambal, perfectly fried chicken and a lot more sides. This place is worth the visit anyday!More info

Line Clear Nasi Kandar
Hailing from Penang, Line Clear Nasi Kandar has finally opened up a branch here in KL. Located in Kampung Baru, this insanely long-queued-restaurant has been the spotlight of nasi kandar in Penang for many years, even until today. An estimate waiting time of 45minutes to an hour is required unless you arrive early. Fortunately, it's not happening here, but there's still quite a crowd. A huge variety of dishes to choose from, with the fried chicken and sambal sotong being some of the more popular picks. Don't forget to flood them in curry!

Restoran Al-bakarth
Once a haven for shisha, Restoran Al-bakarth does surprisingly well in the nasi kandar section. They may not have the widest array of dishes on display, nor do they have the most stunning looking ones. However, what they offer is a solid tasting, delicious and worthy of recommendation set of dishes. It goes great with rice as well as a spoonful of curry. In short, they may not excel in nasi kandar, but it's sufficient to satisfy your cravings.
