Making a mille crepe is, well, hardly a piece of cake. It takes a thousand ounces of patience and tremendous skill to carefully stack paper-thin crepes on top of one another – typically 20 or more layers – with pastry cream smeared in between. After the whole tedious process, the entire cake is finally encased with a sweet coating on top. You’ll know if the cake is done right when you bite in and experience the harmonious layers of soft textures packed with sweet flavours in between!
