Consisting of stir fried chicken pieces, cabbages, sweet potatoes, rice cakes, onions and scallions on a smoking hot plate, dakgalbi is a traditional Korean dish that will literally warm your heart. The dish itself has so much soul despite its simplicity. We reckon that dakgalbi is a soul food due to its origins of being a commoner's dish. Well, thank you Korean commoners for inventing this dish as we can not love it any more than we already do! Check out for these amazing dakgalbi restaurants in the heart of our country.

SopoongCertified
halalIf you're looking for some safe Korean food, Sopoong is not only halal but also consistent. Though Sopoong is not particularly spellbinding, the food is good enough for a revisit. Moreover, prices are reasonable especially since it is located in a central mall.

Da On Fine Korean Cuisine
The most high-end restaurant in this list, Da On's dakgalbi fares at a (slightly) ground shaking RM60 compared to others that are lower priced. Dakgalbi here is slow cooked on traditional charcoal fire instead of a piping hot plate. The dish appears to have less gochujang compared to regular dakgalbi but is still juicy, tender and flavorful. Generally, everything here is at least double the price of normal Korean restaurants.
