Potpourri House Cafe is perfect place for girls who wishes to spend their time with friends over some tea. The cafe is fairly white, with most of the furnitures being rather feminine. Apart from the casual and healthy food served, their selection of chocolate cakes too is pretty good. Coupled with a cup of tea and simply enjoy a conversation or two with some friends. 

Indulgence Restaurant & Living is another mansion in Ipoh offering a wide variety of western dishes and desserts. The signature chocolate cake, which is made to be slightly sweeter than usual, is also rather rigid. However, cutting through it is fairly simple and the richness will satisfy your utmost chocolate cravings.

Plan B may be common in KL, but in Ipoh, its a whole different story. It is one of the fanciest Plan B cafe available in Malaysia, where it's located right next to Malaysian-renowned Architect, Seksan's Sekeping Kong Heng. The cafe has an abundance of  natural light which makes taking photo really easy. As for the taste of the chocolate cake, it is pretty good to say the least.
