Just the name itself draws your attention to two things: 1) big crowd; 2) great food. The crowd doesn’t seem to scare people away nor does it affect the food quality, so that’s not much of a biggie. Let’s talk about the star of the show: the Signature Baked Eggs. Eggs are cracked into a hot plate filled with lamb, beef and chicken bratwurst, sun dried tomatoes, aubergine, potatoes and of course, cheese! It’s a filling and satisfying meal but what’s more important is that it tastes awesome.
    Tips

Reservations cannot be made during these times, so it’s first come first serve. It’s also pet-friendly! Bring your fur babies along! (Outside area only).

This place gets pretty crowded over weekends (breakfast and brunch). If you’re on the waiting list, it may take up to 45 minutes.

Another great eatery at Publika, Fahrenheit 600 offers a range of food from salads to calzones to their signature pizzas. Their principles include no fried food and only using quality olive oil to prepare meals, so you won’t feel guilty after you’ve realized you ate too much. Their oven baked eggs, otherwise known as Aunty Joanna, is molten goodness of eggs and cheese with homemade sausages drenched in Napolitana sauce and topped with a couple of leafy rockets for added taste. It’s served on a wooden board accompanied with freshly baked bread, light and fluffy in texture.
    Tips

Try their coffee as well. Sure to please the coffee aficionados.

    Things to expect

Friendly staff and great ambience! Interior is decorated with statement brick walls and wood and steel furnitures.

If you’re done and still have room for dessert, give their chocolate mousse a try (RM10.90). It’s delish!

This quaint little restaurant started out at Desa Park City before moving to Publika following a massive rent increase. They have an extensive menu but are most known for their brunch food. I ordered the beef sausage with eggs en cocotte (eggs in pots) and gnocchi, served with a side of fresh rocket and cherry tomato salad and two slices of toast. Having gnocchi in my baked eggs was new to me, but it certainly worked well. The sausages, gnocchi and bread are handmade in the store so freshness and food quality are without a doubt. The thick layer of melted cheese that blankets the eggs was the winner for me as I absolutely love how the cheese complimented the dish as a whole.
    Tips

Parking is easy to find here, but it can get confusing if you don’t remember which lift you came out from. Remember to take note!

    Things to expect

Another pet friendly restaurant allowed both inside and out!

    Best with

The coffee here is something worth trying especially because coffee beans are exclusively roasted by Japanese maestro Kato San.
